Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. – Soren Kierkegaard

Humans love yesterday.

We all love to look back and remember the good old days.

From the fun times we had as kids to the moments we had with our loved ones, all of these make us smile.

Yes, there’s nothing wrong with that.

It’s only a problem when it becomes a habit.

Don’t worry; I’m not pointing fingers because I suffer from it, too.

But do we really miss the past, or is something important missing in our present?

The Past is Longing For You

“My yesterdays walk with me. They keep step, they are gray faces that peer over my shoulder.” — William Golding.

It felt like a warm hug was waiting for me inside.

No matter how hard I tried to ignore it, it kept pulling me back.
